v63 Release Notes

Release Notes: Version 63.0 | Released in August 2026

✨ Release Highlights ✨

Learn: Dedicated Homepage + Skills Matrix Redesign

The Learn module now has its own dedicated button at the bottom of the app, alongside every other Redzone module. One tap opens the Learn Homepage — a single hub for all your learning content, organized into tabs.

Previously, Learn features were spread across multiple entry points in the app. They are now all reachable in one place: Your Training, Playbook, Skills Matrix, Forums, New Plays, and Standard Review.

The Skills Matrix has been redesigned for clarity. Each cell now shows a progress bar indicating how many learning pack items have been completed toward the next level. Cell borders surface at-a-glance indicators so managers no longer need to open individual records to see what needs attention:

  • Expiring & Expiring Soon — Skills at or approaching their expiry date

  • Skill Grant Pending — Skills where a level grant is pending approval

  • Trainer — Team members qualified to train that skill

Reminders

  • Compatibility: Upon release of v63, v60 will no longer be supported. All devices must be on v61 or higher.

Productivity

iOS

  • Fixed an issue where internal Redzone employees could not create or reset their PIN at non-SSO organizations due to incorrect login screen routing.

  • Fixed an issue where asset count charts were showing sensor UOM instead of location UOM. These charts now have unit labels showing which UOM is being used.

  • The Operations Dashboard no longer flashes a spurious error banner while user data finishes loading during app startup or account switches.

  • Fixed an issue where the Close button on the My Activities page was not working as intended on iPhones.

  • Tapping an asset problem in the Pareto chart now opens the correct list of historical occurrences for that asset.

  • Modern Operations: Crew size indicator is now shown on the left panel for labour locations.

  • Fixed plural form strings across multiple languages that were previously displaying incorrectly or falling back to English, improving localization accuracy for international users.

  • Fixed an issue where double-tapping Sign In or other login buttons could display a false error message. Login buttons now show a loading indicator while a request is in progress, preventing duplicate submissions.

  • Fixed a crash that could occur when saving photos in Data Sheets on devices under memory pressure.

Server

  • Fixed an issue where attempting to delete a role failed to correctly check whether any users were still assigned to it, allowing the deletion to proceed when it should have been blocked.

  • Resolved an issue where the backend could reject the operation when a user edited a site in Organization Settings > Sites and changed the Parent Enterprise.

  • Fixed an issue where theoretical quantity conversions during idle periods were calculated incorrectly for Site OEE, improving the accuracy of OEE reporting.

  • Operators can now translate Problem Type names into their configured language on the Problem Selection screen.

  • Fixed an issue where saving a site name that differed from an existing name only by trailing whitespace incorrectly triggered a duplicate name error.

  • Fixed an issue where site-level assets configured with RZIO were not included when exporting asset data.

  • Productivity: OEE & APQ (Enterprise) and Productivity: Operational Reviews (Enterprise) standard workbooks updated to remove dependence on site output for OEE reporting.

Web Admin

  • Fixed an issue where the User list in Web Admin was not sorted in case-insensitive alphabetical order, causing inconsistent results when user names mixed uppercase and lowercase characters.

  • Costing parameters can now be edited directly inline in the list view, eliminating the need to open a separate detail page for each edit.

  • The Site Unit of Measure setting now shows a warning before saving to inform you that this change is permanent and cannot be undone, preventing accidental permanent updates.

Compliance

iOS

  • Fixed an issue where scanning a GS1 barcode with a Lot Number (AI 10) on a Data Sheet would display garbled characters instead of the correct value.

  • Fixed an issue where opening attachments on an inherited Data Sheet could fail with an authorization error for users belonging to a child enterprise.

  • Fixed a bug where the Characteristics option was missing from the three-dots menu when starting a run from the schedule on iOS.

  • Fixed a UI issue where selection bubbles in a multi-select match list would shift unexpectedly when an answer was selected.

  • Fixed an issue where the SPC dashboard widget y-axis failed to render negative control limit values, causing data to display incorrectly below the x-axis.

  • Fixed a delay when opening the Quality tab on Location pages with many open Data Sheets.

  • Users can now retry a cancelled data sheet, creating a new linked Data Sheet while preserving the history of the original cancelled sheet.

Server

  • Fixed an issue where text match characteristic data items were incorrectly marked as failed even when the entered value matched and should have passed.

  • Fixed an issue where a Trigger would fail to fire when it shared the exact same label as its associated Data Sheet.

  • Fixed an issue where Data Sheets containing UPC values with leading zeros were incorrectly failing validation.

  • Fixed an issue where the SPC X-Bar chart view was missing from the Quality run summary screen for SPC-controlled characteristics.

  • Added characteristic values to the scheduled runs API response to restore the Characteristics menu option when starting a run from the schedule.

  • Fixed an error that occurred when promoting a site-level characteristic to an organizational level in the Compliance module.

  • Added characteristic values to the scheduled runs API response to restore the Characteristics menu option when starting a run from the schedule.

  • Fixed an issue where Data Sheets could not be completed against scheduled runs when product characteristics were added after the run was scheduled.

  • Fixed an issue where the Compliance Report PDF Glossary section always rendered in English regardless of the site's configured language.

  • Fixed numeric sample-set Mean calculations so the value shown on Data Sheets matches the pass/fail evaluation. The mean is now rounded to the characteristic's decimal precision before comparing against spec limits.

  • Fixed an issue where line breaks in multi-line Data Sheet answers were removed when exporting to PDF.

  • Cancellation comments for checks are now included in the Data Sheet History PDF export.

  • Fixed an issue where a recurring Trigger could fire duplicate checks within the same interval.

  • Data Sheet triggered comments now support {dataitem.result} and {dataitem.name} placeholders, allowing comment bodies to include the data item name and its recorded value when a Data Sheet is completed.

  • SKU is now available as a filter option and export column in the Data Sheet History view, making it easier to search and report on quality records by product SKU.

Web Admin

  • Added support for power and square root operations in Data Sheet calculation expressions.

  • Fixed an issue where Characteristic Values using a lowercase "o" in the Julian date format (oDDD) failed to upload through the import tool.

  • When a problem type can't be deleted because it's used by active triggers, the app now shows an error naming the blocking triggers instead of silently failing.

  • Fixed an issue in Web Admin where Product Characteristics pages automatically applied an empty grid filter on load, hiding results until the filter was manually cleared.

  • Labels are now available to Productivity and Compliance module tenants, allowing them to create, manage, and assign labels to Data Sheets.

  • Additional text template variables (Run ID, Custom Reference, SKU) are now available in trigger action titles and descriptions.

Reliability

iOS

  • Fixed the Assets row on a Purchase Request so tapping it reopens the asset selection list, letting users review or edit the assets linked to the request.

  • Parts can now be printed as a QR code PDF that includes the Part Number and storage locations, making it easier to visually identify and locate parts without scanning.

  • iOS now requires PIN verification before a Centerline check can be launched, so only authorized users can perform the validation.

  • Breakdown notifications are now correctly suppressed during a user's configured Do Not Disturb hours.

  • Added a 'Save for Later' button to centerline checks, allowing operators to pause and resume a check without losing their progress.

Server

  • Breakdowns now automatically move to "In Progress" when accepted or when ownership is taken, instead of remaining in "To Do".

  • Users with the Parts Manager role can now export (and import) Parts Inventory; the export no longer fails with a 403 authorization error.

  • Fixed an issue where whole-number centerline values were incorrectly formatted with trailing decimals, causing centerline textMatch checks to fail.

  • Fixed an issue where SPC variable report characteristics with fewer than 25 samples could be silently dropped or cause errors; these characteristics are now returned with explicit insufficient-data status and suppressed Cpk/giveaway fields.

  • Fixed an issue where deactivated and deleted users continued to appear in the team selection and backlog view.

  • Fixed an issue where the find-me column on the parts list could display a temporary (ephemeral) address instead of the correct default address.

  • Fixed an issue where the line log showed "Breakdown Rejected" when a breakdown call expired with no user response; the system now correctly distinguishes between a timeout and an explicit rejection.

  • Administrators can now require users to enter a PIN before launching a centerline check, configurable per location or asset.

  • Organizations can now enable automatic PO number generation with a configurable prefix, digit padding, and starting sequence.

  • Added a toggle to show or hide the "Accept All" button on the Create Centerline Check trigger in Web Admin.

  • Part search now supports multi-word queries — each space-separated term narrows results independently (e.g., "Belt 424" finds parts matching both "Belt" and "424").

  • A new Trigger condition based on downtime instance count (problem frequency) is now available for Data Sheet and action Triggers.

Web Admin

  • Fixed a permission error that prevented users with the Parts Manager role from updating part quantities on Web Admin.

  • Centerline checks can now be configured to require a PIN before they are launched, so only authorized users can perform them. This can be enabled per location or per asset.

  • Fixed choppy scrolling in the Maintenance Activities "All Open" list on Android and corrected the missing work orders so the list now matches iOS.

  • Fixed an error that occurred when using Select All to batch-select parts in the trigger configuration editor.

  • When an Excel import to Reliability fails validation, a Download Error Report button now lets you download an annotated copy of the file showing which rows need correction.

  • Fixed an issue where Product SKU numbers were missing from the Product Type dropdown when configuring Schedule Triggers in the Quality Checks module.

  • Administrators can now configure cycle count frequency intervals by criticality level (A, B, C) directly from the Reliability Preferences page.

  • Fixed an issue where a Remove button was incorrectly displayed for temporary addresses on the part edit screen. Temporary addresses now show a 'Temporary address' indicator instead.

  • Bulk Delete Parts is now available on the Inventory Page.

iOS

  • Updated the Learn Homepage sidebar icons to use the approved Material Symbols icon set for a more consistent visual experience.

  • Fixed the Manage Standards Permission check in, which was incorrectly checking the Insight Moderator Permission.

  • Updated to consume a new server property when locking Level 2 Packs.

Server

  • The server will now match legacy iOS behavior for calculating when a Learning Pack is locked. The Skill decides since the Skill knows.

  • Fixed an issue where creating a Skills Matrix filter via the API without a required name was incorrectly accepted; the API now returns an appropriate error when the name field is missing.

  • Fixed a server error that occurred when uploading items to a Learning Pack.

Web Admin

  • Fixed errors that occurred when importing Learning Library content from an XLSX file, ensuring the import completes successfully.

  • Fixed an issue with BaseGrid whitespace.

  • Standards and user plays are now consistent - both visible via thumbnail with a 'View' button to display a QR code.
